Capital Investment Advisors was co-founded by Stephen A. Bannister and Rebecca J. Pelino. The principals of CIA have owned, managed and developed a real estate portfolio of over $500 million over the past 20+ years. CIA investment activities are not strictly limited to the purchase of real estate, but includes strategies for the acquisition of distressed Senior Debt, Subordinate Debt, and Preferred Equity positions. Included in our portfolio are multi-family communities, industrial warehouse facilities, residential land for development, and various interim use assets such as Class B office buildings for repositioning and re-planning into a mixed use community. CIA also self-manages their investments and self performs on the investment strategy. Our investment partners include publicly traded companies, Family Office Principals and high net worth individuals from our region.
